Checks reach your service the way a visitor does, through its public address, not from the server it runs on.
Checked after every deploy
As soon as a deploy succeeds, the services it changed are checked. A broken address shows within seconds.
Incidents with the details
A failing service gets a red warning and an incident. Open it to see what each check got back.

The status, history and incidents are in the dashboard and in the CLI. A coding agent can run a check after it deploys and read the answer.

Questions
What does Ployz check?
Every service with a public address. Ployz requests it from outside your servers, the way a visitor reaches it, and records whether it answered and how fast.
When does a check run?
Right after each deploy, for the services that deploy changed, and on a schedule between deploys. Check now runs one whenever you like.
What happens when a service is down?
It shows a red warning on the canvas and an incident opens. The incident lists what each check got back, and it closes when the service answers again.
What counts as up?
If you set a health check path, any answer below 400 from it. Otherwise, any answer below 500 from /.
Do I still need UptimeRobot?
Not to know whether your services answer. Ployz checks every public service and keeps the history next to its logs and metrics.
